“Honestly one of the most unique places I have ever had the pleasure of staying. Me and my partner came with our 4 month old son on our first little family holiday and can honestly say we loved every second. I don’t have a fault or anything you could improve on because I’ve genuinely come away in awe of the beautiful set up you have. We were always left to do our own thing yet also felt very looked after. Your attention to detail is impeccable. The tent was beautifully laid out and every area was perfectly clean. Couldn’t recommend a better place to go and stay and have told everyone how much of a great time we had. I hope they too visit and experience what we got to. Thank you again for making our first family holiday such a breeze. Stunning in every way.”

Walking to my tent on the first night I was amazed by the decore and the facilities. Everything was clean and comfy and much more than what I expected. “Amazing place! Arrived Friday evening for 2 nights. We were greeted by the lovely hosts who were very friendly and welcoming including their children and dog. They showed us round their beautiful grounds and down to the tents and even helped carry our bags on the back of their tractor which saved us struggling with the many bags I packed! We stayed in the John Dory which is the other side of the lake so felt more private. Lovely tent - comfy double bed, luxurious bedding and linen and plenty of utensil to use for cooking on the fire - including complimentary marshmallows to toast! The coalshed where the toilet/shower/ kitchen were located was of a high standard and didn’t feel like the ‘usual’ camping facilities. Our dog loved it too - even jumping straight into the lake as soon as we got there!! I would highly recommend this place and we hope to visit again soon!”

“We spent a weekend at Ideawood with our dogs. We had an extremely welcoming and well prepared break. Staff and facilities are outstanding and the amount of small details and touches within the accommodation and around the gardens are truly second to none. We have busy lives and demanding jobs and having the ability to down tools for a few days to soak up the relaxing atmosphere, wildlife, countryside and good vibes pouring out of this stay are second to none. The location is perfect and nearby attractions and resources available make this the perfect retreat for anyone looking to melt away the hassle of daily life. We will be booking up again just as soon as life allows it and recommend anyone looking to drop off the radar for a few days take up the chance to enjoy. Can’t recommend this visit enough to people that want to focus on life only, you will not be disappointed. Enjoy.”

“We had such a wonderful stay. The tents were fantastic, the gardens were beautiful as was the area. Chris and the whole family made us feel so welcome and the little touches like marshmallows and prosecco made it even extra special. We would definitely stay again and couldn’t fault anything. “Wow what a beautiful little place, once you arrive and take your place in a well equipped and comfortable Bell tent overlooking a pond you forget your in someone’s back garden. We had booked in for our 20th Wedding Anniversary as I knew the hubby would love the campfire and cooking on it. The couple who run the Glamping were there for our arrival showing us round and helping get our luggage to the tent and always on hand for any queries/advice and local recommendations. Nash farm up the road is a must for breakfast (eggs Benedict was yum) The local area has many beautiful places to visit and a short boat ride to Caldey Island is a day trip I’d recommend. The whole experience of staying on Ideawood was amazing from the accommodation, the facilities provided and the surrounding area.”

“The facilities were great and the hosts were very thoughtful. Their attention to detail was really impressive and they made us feel right at home. They have obviously worked very hard to make it the best stay possible for their guests, kindly providing food, fire wood, great cooking facilities and a cozy tent to stay. They also offer really good advise for sight seeing and the host was really friendly and attentive. Their lovely dog Holly was particular highlight Thank you for having us Cheers Josh and Sarah”

“Ideawood is a great camping spot if you wish to visit the beautiful Pembroke coast, the Stackpole Estate and stunning surrounding countryside. The hosts, Jane and Chris were helpful yet discrete. The Nash Farm shop, situated just next-door, is a real bonus providing quality produce and tasty meals - we recommend the Hungry Farmer breakfast. The Coalshed shower at Ideawood is a welcome glamping treat - immaculately clean with plenty of hot water.”

“Ideawood is fantastic! Jane is a brilliant host, there to help should you need it but also gives you all the space you want. The bell tent was lovely and the bed was comfortable and positively toasty under the thick quilt! When we arrived Jane had bought us sausages, bacon, eggs, juice etc ready for breakfast the next day and provided us with marshmallows to toast in the fire BBQ. The toilet/shower/kitchen area were spotlessly clean and up to a very high standard. All in all it was a lovely and relaxing stay, we would definitely recommend it!”

“Thank you for a really lovely weekend. The tent was warm and comfortable and the fire BBQ was brilliant. Rhys loved cooking on it and we both loved toasting the marshmallows! The breakfast items were an added bonus too. Also thank you for recommending The Brewery Inn, it was fantastic and when we said you had recommended it they wanted to know who you were to thank you for recommending them and sending business their way. All in all we had a brilliant time and have come away feeling relaxed and happy, we couldn’t ask for much more than that!”
