Wake up to views over the pond and catch the moorhen bobbing in the margins looking for breakfast. With inspiring views over Long Meadow and up to Cosheston village the acres of surrounding woodland and fields make this spot a great escape.

All of our tents look out onto the Pond which has many visitors & residents including moorhen, mallard, otter, kingfisher, heron, snipe, bat, fox & badger. The Woods extend for nearly 5 acres and is packed with wildlife, flora & fauna and you are free to wander. Our garden extends to nearly 2 acres with our house at the top which is where you will find the facilities and the tents around the pond at the foot of the garden.
Inside you’ll find...
A ‘x4 poster’ style bed with our bespoke fabric print privacy screen of a John Dory fish, luxury white cotton covers & sheet with a 10.5 tog duvet and four pillows with room to hang your clothes.
A comfy armchair with our unique range of fish print cushions, bedside log tables for lanterns & novels, luxury white cotton towels, bed throw and faux sheepskin rugs tickle the toes.
A rattan chest with campfire blankets and plenty of room for your own gear and a trug for wellies & wet gear.
Essentials Box including vintage crockery, cast iron Dutch oven, frying pan & sandwich maker, cooking utensils, hatchet, complimentary Nespresso capsules, etc.
Outside you’ll find...
Two chairs for enjoying the view of the pond from the decking or for lazing around the campfire.
‘Blacksmith’ made campfire swing arm grill & corten steel fire pit with Dutch oven, cast iron frying pan, sandwich maker, saucepan and of course a complimentary bag of marshmallows.
Firewood and kindling provided (firelighters if you are out of practice) Extra firewood is available at an additional charge. (This money goes toward the ongoing woodland management scheme for the woods)
The Coalshed is where you will find the toilets, shower wet-room, kitchen, fridge, tea & coffee and the ideawood store. Don’t be fooled by the name - the coalshed is about as glamorous as glamping gets.
